A beautifully illustrated book with the watercolours of William Dawson showing both sides of the rail line from Exeter to Totnes, these 25 images, made in 1848 are in full colour. Many other images and photographs showing details of the line now and over the years. There is a scholarly introduction by Paul Garnsworthy, Secretary of the Broad Gauge Society. Lanscape format 297mm by 363mm Great quality a "must have book"

I needed to get this as an adjunct to my talk.

It's absolutely beautiful, and includes a thorough history of the line.

If you're not a Victorian Engineering geek, don't buy it.
