Steven is a sarcastic character, which makes his conversations amusing. He works for a British secret intelligence agency, which is based in London. There is an illicit number of drugs being sold in Britain, and Steven travels to various parts of the world, unlocking answers. It's dangerous work, and there's no one better than Steven, who has followed into his father's footsteps.
His reliable secretary has been put in a coma and there's more to her to discover.
Amongst all the chaos, he finds himself in a relationship with his bosses niece, who he actually works alongside. The secondary characters are flawed and credible in this story. However, there is a traitor in the mix, and Steven is in danger.
This is a great action-packed story and certainly takes you on a journey discovering truths and lots of great twists! The characters, the culture, and locations were written really well, and it was thrilling to read.
