Grandma’s Gifts

Rate this book
Three stories of loss and resilience for children and their loved ones.

I wrote these stories during my 25 years working at Community Hospice, as a social worker and as a bereavement counselor. Before that, I worked for 4 years at Parsons Child and Family Center with children in foster care and adoption. We often looked for books and materials to help children prepare for and recover from the loss of some one close to them. Giving them information and opportunities to process their feelings, using art and stories, helped their natural resilience emerge. I trust that this book will help in that process.
