The Brewing Love & Lattes series does not disappoint!! The author Amy's writing style captures and pulls you in from the very beginning. I could not put this book down once I got it started. The story is realistic and has some true raw emotions throughout. Although there are triggering topics that a lot of us may resonate with, I believe Hailey's story will allow others to gain hope to get through their journeys! If you are looking for a book that provides a true example of how people can overcome some of the worst narcissistic relationships, don't hesitate to read this series!

That's What Love Becomes provides us with Hailey’s continued healing journey from her biological father’s abuse, her loss of the only man who deserved the title “Dad”, and her growing relationship with Eric. As Hailey struggles with her insecurities, Eric is there reassuring her every step of the way. When Eric prepares to take Hailey to one of her bucket list destinations to pop the question, she receives a phone call from her mother that ruins the excitement, another loss! Her biological father is dead, and the extended family doesn’t want her around for the services. But, why?

With Eric and Scarlett being her biggest supporters, they realize this has sent Hailey spiraling and she needs help. They both ask her to talk to a therapist if she wants to overcome these obstacles and obtain the closure needed for a future she always dreamed of! With that said, the process gives Hailey the hope she needs to start to heal, but what happens next will blow your mind!

Thank you #AmyRose for this ARC in return for an honest review. I look forward to your future books and continue to wish you the best of luck!

Hailey's decision to break away from her abusive past struck a chord with me. I've faced my own struggles, and her courage resonated with the battles I've fought in my own life. When she finally cut ties with her father, it felt like a weight lifted from my own shoulders, reminding me of the power of self-liberation.

But life isn't always smooth sailing, and just when Hailey finds happiness with Eric, her past comes crashing back with a letter from her father. In that moment, I felt Hailey's pain as if it were my own, wondering if her newfound joy could survive the storm.

As I followed Hailey's journey of healing and self-discovery, I found myself reflecting on my own past and the scars it's left behind. Amy Rose's storytelling drew me in, making me feel like I was walking alongside Hailey every step of the way.

While there were moments where the pacing felt a bit rushed, and I longed for more depth in certain plotlines, these flaws were overshadowed by the raw emotion that permeated every page.

In the end, "That's What Love Becomes" left me with a renewed sense of hope and a reminder that love has the power to heal even the deepest wounds. Amy Rose has crafted a story that will stay with me long after I've closed the book, reminding me of the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of love.

In book one we learn about Hailey's toxic relationship with her father, her grief over the loss of a loved one, the support of her mother and best friend, and finally the interest/love of a good man. We leave off to assume that Hailey is now to set off to rebuild her life and further trust her support system, but she hasn't quite dealt with the wounds and toxicity of her father's abuse. In book two, we see just how much more this affects her life in all aspects, especially in her new relationship with Eric. Still trying to make the best of things, she goes on a vacay with Eric and things are going great until she gets horrible news - another loss! She's already struggling with insecurity, guilt and grief and now she's even more conflicted. She needs help! Amidst all this she still has hope, dreams, and a strong support system. We get to watch her grow, mature, and start to heal, but the biggest twist is yet to come. What I enjoyed most about this book is that it's raw and realistic!

Omg where do I start?!? I couldn’t put this book down I had to read it from start to finish! I found myself going through so many emotions(happy, excited, sad, angry). There were many times watching Hailey’s growth made me so happy and shouting “you go girl”! Watching her mature and heal from her troubled past. This book is such a heartfelt story. I do feel like some people can relate to it and understand they are not alone. It’s a journey and I highly recommend reading it🧡

This is a series so make sure you read book 1.

To read the struggles that occurred with Hailey and Eric in this book was just awe. They struggle with some real world problems and it makes it easy to relate with the characters. You feel the joy, laughter, love and sadness with these characters. I love seeing them build their relationship and I hope to read Scarlet gets her happily ever after!

Thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of this arc team and can't wait to see what you bring next!

MAKE SURE U READ BOOK 1 THAT'S WHAT LOVE IS BEFORE U READ THIS ONE
Haley is still tryin to get over all the abuse she endured her whole life. While keepin a good relationship with her amazing patient boyfriend Eric. But she is spiraling and takin it out on Eric and Scarlett. Scarlett and her mom convinced her to see a therapist cause she definitely needs professional help to get her emotions in check. Hailey has an amazing support group. This is a good book.

Guys… this book is so dang good! I didn’t think it could get better than book one but Amy worked hard on this book like it was her baby and it shows. I don’t like to do spoilers in reviews but let’s just say the twist at the end had me thinking “wow” the entire time. I had to stop reading to really process how the book was turning out.

This one was super short but also very boring. The first book was soooo good, but this one just felt unfinished, missing something, and just not paced out very well.
One paragraph we are cuddling our man, the next we are making lattes. There was so clear division between *scene changes*, it was very hard to follow.

I had to give the second book a chance, but it was no better than the first. I only read a little over 100 pages, but how can you make a helicopter ride in Hawaii boring? Again, this book just fell flat.

I had been waiting for more on this story and it did not disappoint 🥹 it’s beautiful, it’s raw, and emotional.

I adore Hailey. Her strength and her will to continue to fight despite everything she has been through. I loved seeing how supportive Eric was through out her journey and just being present. The love there is so beautiful and I just adore these characters. Things get tricky and complicated… but absolutely worth it! 🩷

So thankful to be apart of this journey and getting to read this series.

Not my favorite book but was a cute little love story, not much of a plot. I did love the simple plot oh her having to deal with adhd and trauma.

I just didn't vibe with this book. I enjoyed the first in the series, but this one just felt rushed and a little pointless. The scenes were very jumpy and one second, we went from cuddles to cafe within the same paragraph. There was no character building and no plot other than... sad...dad hates me... gets engaged...fail wedding... dad sucks...married.
I wanted more explanation of scenes and the vocab between characters seemed jumbled so there were times I couldn't understand who was talking or saying what. Overall, it just seemed very rushed and not very well written or thought out. The author needed to show not tell more.

Where do I even begin with this one?

I've read the first book, as coming from an abusive home and slowly working through a lot of C-PTSD since leaving, I was drawn in by the premise of TWLI. That's What Love Becomes is a fantastic wrap up to this story. Amy's writing voice has grown so much since the first book, and let me tell you this book made me sad, angry, annoyed and had me gasping out loud and doing a little walk around the room at moments.

I love Hailey's growth (and therapy ARC). She comes into her own in this book, and it is so refreshing to get a FMC who isn't stone cold. I'm really burnt out on that.

Well done Amy! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
