Set in rural and urban Yorkshire, "Dislocation" delves below the superficiality of modern culture. Jane is constrained by her upbringing and society's expectations to conform to a conventional, consumer-driven existence. But what buried darknesses emerge when the surface of suburban life cracks? As her illusory paradise crumbles round her, Jane struggles to regain her identity and take control of her life.
A surreal amalgam of humour, pathos, drama and romance, with a tweak of menace and a sprinkling of philosophy.
