This book is a collection of articles drawn from Goldmine Magazine. Most of the articles seem to be from issues in the late 80s or the 90s. There is a lot of information to be found in them. The topics vary wildly, also. There is a story about how the song "Get Back" came about, retrospectives of the fab four twenty years later, studies of performers who had ties to the Beatles, and on and on. I will admit that a few of the articles were of little or no interest to me, but obviously others might say the same about articles that I liked.

There are a lot of pictures in this book, both of the Beatles and also publicity photos for their singles, albums, movies, etc. In the back there is a price guide, which I imagine is outdated by now, but I didn't read this as a collector, but rather as someone who has always appreciated the music and the history of the Beatles. On that basis I highly recommend The Beatles Digest.
