Kali Hart has gathered the first three books of her Mountain Men of Caribou Creek series featuring the three Ashburn Brothers into a collection that you absolutely need to grab if you are a fan of Ms Hart, swoon-worthy mountain men, sassy heroines, or wonderfully-written instalove romance.
Love on Tap - Riley & Ash
The first title I ever read by Kali Hart and it made me an instant fan. Riley has returned to Caribou Creek to help take care of her grandmother after she broke her ankle, and has been avoiding her brother's best friend, Zac - whom she had a massive crush on when she was a teenager. Once she and Zac finally lay eyes on one another again, there is a very mutual attraction. Zac, ex-military and still occasionally battling PTSD, finds that Riley calms him in a way nothing else does. However, her stay is only supposed to be temporary - and she fears she may have more ties back in Orlando than she wishes. Then there's the matter of her brother...
Zac is swoon-worthy and Riley is imperfectly perfect, both flawed and awesome, and with Kindle-melting chemistry that reminds you that first and foremost, this is a steamy romance. But it also has a cast of amazing supporting characters - from Grandma Hattie and Grandpa Harold, to Ben and Wes, Penny and Huck...
Love Drunk - Wes & Avery
Wes has wanted Avery from the moment she arrived in town and rented one of his properties. However, her arrival in Caribou Creek was as an escape, and she is ready to leave at any moment. Reluctant to allow herself to connect with anyone, she has been avoiding Wes at every opportunity. But when her past catches up with her, and Wes' meddling grandmother arrives in town, the two fake a relationship, which inevitably leads to both catching feelings. Can they each move past their previous relationships and give each other a chance, or will playing pretend only end in heartbreak?
Tipsy on Love - Ben & Josie
Ben has lusted after the family's assistant in their brewery since she started working for them three years ago. But ghosts from his past have had him gruffly holding her at arm's length. Josie is about at the end of her rope where Ben is concerned. Stuck working with him at an annual festival out of town, she is determined to make her feelings known - and if he rejects her, she has a job lined up in Anchorage. Will Ben finally get out of his own way when it is obvious how meant to be he and Josie really are?
All three of these short romances are entertaining, steamy and swoon-worthy. A highly recommended collection to add to your favourites.
