Dumpy Proverbs is an illustrated children's book by the famed illustrator Honor Charlotte Appleton. It is a collection of proverbs each one illustrated with a drawing. It is an excellent bedtime story book especially for younger children. An adult reading it to a child can simply invent a great story around each picture to make the proverb's meaning clearer.
