Data Analytics in Internal Audit: Audit using technology
This book is dedicated to Sai Baba of Shirdi, to whom I owe everything. This is my way of giving back to the community.
After 35 years experience in the audit profession, which included a stint abroad in a CPA firm, the author, CA Rohit Talwar, (A Chartered Accountant trained at IIM Ahmedabad plus Data Science training at Manipal Academy of Data Sciences, Bangalore) decided that all the knowledge and experience that he had gained should be shared with deserving and needy students, who are interested in the future of audit practice , but cannot afford the expense of a international university degree, so that the dream of an inclusive India as announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will come true.
So, he wrote this book, for data analysts in finance domain, and CA students / auditors in Data Analytics applications.
There are books on Internal Audit as well as books on Data Analytics, but there are no Indian books which gives us information on how to use Data Analytics in Internal Audit.
You need to have a basic knowledge of Excel or PowerBI or R or ChatGPT to get the most from this book.
The author has given links to videos and tutorials which are available on the net, but not arranged in a single document.
