Evidence of that is in her groundbreaking awards such as becoming the first female solo artist to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.Sadly at 30 years of age and at the height of her career she was killed in a plane crash in 1963.Owen Bradley, the legendary producer with Decca Records was responsible for guiding her recording career through a succession of hits including "Walkin' After Midnight" and "Crazy."
