Ladies and Gentlemen!
After a year of inactivity, the Dark Nightmares Theatre Company is ready to present their newest play! A recreation of the classic that filled the hearts of the locals with joy when this humble company first opened their curtains to the public. Now, with new faces, the show can finally begin-
At least that was what Danelyssa was expecting… Not the murder of the leading actress on the night before their debut. If the angels meddling in her business weren’t problematic enough, now even the humans seemed to be sabotaging her plans. And the worst was yet to come.
Even with only one inspector working in such a small city, she would turn out to be the downfall of that company after Danelyssa and her companions’ devilish identities were revealed. A mere mortal getting in between the matters of Heaven and Hell was trouble. Yet, the line between good and evil had already been blurred long before the inspector’s arrival…

Devilish is a dark fantasy romance full of supernatural intrigue, dramatic flair, and unexpected twists. Set against the mysterious backdrop of the Dark Nightmares Theatre Company, the story follows Danelyssa as she navigates murder, divine interference and secrets that blur the line between Heaven and Hell.
One of the strongest aspects of the book is the rich world-building. From the eerie theater atmosphere to the complex interplay between celestial and infernal forces, every detail adds depth to the story’s unique universe. The plot twists were another highlight; I truly didn’t see that ending coming!!
The romantic tension between Danelyssa and a certain character was one of my favorite parts. Their dynamic added so much intensity and emotional charge to the story, and honestly, I would have loved even more of it!
With its theatrical setting, morally complex characters, and a blend of mystery and romance, Devilish is perfect for readers who enjoy fantasy with a dark edge and romance that simmers beneath the surface. It’s a great pick for fans of forbidden love, supernatural politics, and dramatic reveals.
