Every volume really pushes the plot forward ever so slightly. We have plenty of action from a tournament in a couple chapters and now our two protagonists are starting to be told at the same time which keeps elevating that game of thrones vibe.
Can’t wait for next one because it really will start getting more climactic as we go forward.
From the Wiki the series is still ongoing with 15 volumes complete in Japan. This series definitely could be an anime and would be a good one for people who aren’t as into echii stuff since the sex scenes really are purposeful to the storytelling.

Plot advances as Arc marries Kaimaya and is named king. Also Retta and Arc meet as the demon and dark elf’s game advances as well.
