Summer's End: There are stranger things than anyone has ever imagined...

Rate this book
Don't miss this incredible new installment in everyone's favorite series, because missing out isn't nearly as fulfilling in life.

Jacob Hines is many things. A lawn care professional. A decent cook... An alien operative in the time wars...

He's also about to go into high school. Which is a great chance to bond with his new friends, before the drudgery of the American school system grinds them all down. So, one trip to the lake later, they start in on the fun. Only, as always, the supernatural beings, demons and mages forgot that part.

Now Jake has to protect his people, in a very unexpected fashion.

P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He averages 1 to 2 books monthly and has several series going. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs. Anyway, feel free to drop him a line.

Hello Everyone!

In chatting with Dale over the past few weeks, it was decided that he was interested in blogging to you, his readers. The blog he had within the main site was not going to be a viable solution and there were thoughts of just creating a Forum where only he could post and everyone else could reply. This MOD is a nice meeting of the two for what will hopefully be a highly successful blog!

Hoping this first (and only) post by me will kick off a nice method of interaction with Dale's readers!

p.s. - Also going to try and get the feed that comes with this to feed into Amazon and Goodreads. Good luck to one and all!!

I have read nearly every book by P.S. Power. Some series are excellent and I have reread them multiple times. A couple of years ago half of every book was about how men were slaves to women while still having strong female characters. It was just too much of an author with hurt feelings. He seems to have gotten over the women being evil thing. This book and the latest in the Damsel series have two new problems. There is so much logistics that they are boring and the main characters are beyond pushy. It was so bad in the newest Damsel book that I was forced to stop within the first few pages out of sheer boredom. I also have a lower-level complaint about telepathy being used as a never-ending crutch. The author must rediscover why he is telling a yarn and why a reader should care.

Jake the Amazing

Jake the orphan is tasked to save the world. He time travels, tutors school kids, joins both the football team and cheerleading team, helps feed hungry vampires and sacrifices evil blood mages. An all around great guy just starting his freshman year. I'm looking forward to reading more about Jake and his adventures.

Really intriguing series!!!!!

Congratulations to P.S. Powers for this amazing series. It’s extremely hard to find such an interesting and exciting author who not only writes intelligently but also provides top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories.

Not the usual Faire.

I tried to read this book like I have all of his previous books, but it didn't hold my attention.
