I love Ashwood Falls!!! Great Feline and Wolf Shifter series!

Great introduction to Ashwood Falls. This was a great short story to get you pumped up for the Ashwood Falls series. I felt as though I was watching the scene unfold before my eyes as Lia told this awesome romantic shifter story. Ashwood Falls 101: Here are some facts to get you better acquainted. Ashwood Falls is a small Smokey Mountain town with a mixed pack - half wolf and half cat. Both packs were attacked over 200 years ago and over half of each pack was wiped out. They discovered together they could survive. In this pre-quell we meet several characters: Keegan (the pack alpha) and his children: Blaine, Shay and Danica - there could be more. The pack lawyer, Jared, and several enforcers: Cameron, Hayden, and Dane. The pre-quell focus around Danica's story. She is over 200 years old and lives in a cabin far from others. In this story we learn more about the accident that made her flee town and she finds her mate. Someone who also has an interested background. Want to know who her mate is? Read this story and you'll find out.

Her world changed forever when tiger claimed his wolf! Magnificent continuation of the shifter series -- Ashwood Falls! Be sure to read Winter Eve first, the prequel to this story. I loved the feel of running wild through the woods with Shay, Josie, and Travis. And now a little about the book...
Shayna Andrews is the pack princess and she is suffocating! Her father won't let her run free and she is never alone. One day after a huge fight with her father, she took off in the woods and somehow left the den without her normal escorts. She was so mad she lost track of how far she ran and ended up face to face with the enemy. The half-man half-wolf mutants of the Onyx pack. Before the mutants were able to harm Shay too bad, Travis Hunter (former alpha of the Hunter Ridge pack) leaped to the rescue - literally. Shortly after they get back to his cabin and she is healed, her first heat cycle slams into
her. Unable to deny his attraction and hoping it is more than her heat cycle, Travis doesn't resist when she attacks him. He knows he has met his true mate, but the next morning she is still unsure.

Can I have this dance? I loved this story. I read it in just over 24 hours! I would have loved to be in the dance between Graham and Blaine! Two strong men and one very strong woman! This is the second full novel in the Ashwood Falls series, be sure to read the prequel and book #1 first - Winter Eve and A Tiger's Claim. In A Mating Dance we continue to get to know the members of the Ashwood Falls pack we met in the first two stories. We are introduced to a few new characters in this story - Addy, Graham, Sable. And now a little bit about the story ...
Cam and Blaine have been dancing around each other for 16 years. She had gotten pregnant during her first heat cycle, but had lost the baby several months later. She was so scared of losing another child she had been afraid to commit to Blaine. In the mean time Graham Griffin, Nevan Matthew's stepbrother, has come to town to redesign the nursery and school. Graham is shocked by his attraction to Cam - he has never been attracted to a female before. His attraction to Blaine is less of a mystery. Can the three of them make it work? Will Blaine (a very strong alpha male) accept another male into his relationship? When two children are rescued from the rogue Onyx pack, Graham is excited to be reunited with his lover's children - but worried what happened to their father. The characters are strong, compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning and the fast paced and smooth flowing stories keep readers on their toes with lots of suspense, excitement and romance. The readers can’t help but get caught up in each story as this fascinating community invites readers in and for them to stay for awhile. Danica Welsh captures the heart when a stranger crashes into her life and her heart after believing that she would never have a mate, Shayna Andrews’ life is suffocating so she slips away only to run into the enemies hands, luckily a lone wolf comes to her aid and Cameron Nichols has always loved Blaine Andrews but couldn’t accept him as her mate because she always felt something was missing until she suddenly finds herself in a mating dance that not only includes Blaine but also a mountain lion shifter.
There is never a dull moment in any of these stories as the pack face enemies that are determined to destroy them and the passion burns hot enough to scorch the readers with every romance. The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and bring the stories to life while the well orchestrated suspense and action draws the reader in and ensures that they finish every last page.
This fascinating strong shifter community has surprising twists and turns that keeps reader guessing and while I wish that they had been a little longer, I was bewitched with each and every one and I can’t wait to visit Ashwood Falls again.

Once again I have found a good book in this story. I found it hard to put it down until the end.

Since I have read some of the novels in this series that were after these I thought this would be a perfect bundle to catch the first ones. I dearly love reading this series and in each one you get to know the characters more intimately. I am so glad I read these because it gave me just that since I had read them in books following these. I also got to catch up more in detail some important factors pertaining to this series I had otherwise missed. In Winter's Eve you meet the pack healer -Danica and learn her story with how she thinks she is to be alone but things will turn out quite differently for her. Nevan has gotten his car in a accident thanks to almost hitting a leopard and must take refuge with Danica from a storm coming. It only justs begins there with their story. In the next one A Tigar's Claim you meet Shayna and Travis. Shayna is the alpha's only daughter who goes on a run by herself but goes to far only to be rescued by Travis from some mutants. Once a alpha himself but now the only remaining ones are himself,his daughter and mother in law they will find out that you can belong once again. Witness the turbulent and exciting relationship that grows with Shayna and Travis that will purr with satisfaction when finished. Lastly in this bundle is A Mating Dance where you meet senior enforcer Cameron and Blaine but who will also both find one mountain lion shifter very hard to resist. Two children are found and rescued who also have come looking for Graham that will become very important in their lives. This one is one that will curl you toes and send shivers down your spine from the deliciousness that this novel contains. Trouble will also come testing many a character in Ashwood Falls but also delight in the growing relationship and matings that come out of it. I am so glad I did not miss this wonderful way to catch up and enjoy every sweet treat contained within. Granted it also has the struggles and the war with the mutants also with the hows and whys.

This is a great way to be introduced to the Ashwood Falls community. If you enjoy paranormal ,hot sexy alpha males,suspense,great sex scenes get this series. The price is great and it won't take you long to get hooked on this author.

I enjoyed reading the first three stories about Dani and Nevan, Shay and Travis, and Cam, Blaine and Graham. Ashwood Falls has it's share of rogues and I can't wait to see what happens next with Keegan and the rest of the pack.

Each book so far has kept me very interested in the Ashwood Falls family. I enjoy the strong characters & how they came to be together. The action is great & the hot loving is even better.
