If this book hadn’t been published so long ago, I might have given it 5 stars; I’ve had it since 1991 and it was a wonderful resource. It’s a unique because it’s a book of recommended kids’ books and the entire book was created & written by kids ages 5-17 who wrote reviews of their favorite books, although obviously none are included that have been published since 1991. There are three sections divided by grade/age: Kindergarten-Third Grades (ages 5-8 +), Fourth-Sixth Grades (ages 9-11 +), Seventh-Twelfth Grades (ages 12-17 +) and the reviews are written by kids in these age groups, and they are terrific!
