the very first central banking book that hooked my interest.
the author uses sophisticated words yet a very clear explanation of each jargon.
the book captures the evolution of the central bank, from its novel role of an institution to deposit valuable assets and its evolutions with time to finally become a political institution given its previous, current, and forecasted future challenges.
