A good book on securing yourself and your business

This book is great for newcomers since it breaks down difficult ideas into simple, attainable steps. Important advice, such as backing up and upgrading software regularly, are highlighted and made easy to understand and implement.

In the event of a security breach, the book lays out a methodical plan for handling the situation and getting back on your feet. The descriptions of different cyberattacks, such code and SQL injections, which I had never heard about before, were very impressive.

Cyberattacks on real-life organizations like Yahoo highlight the need for strong cybersecurity measures and make the issue more critical. Secure personal Wi-Fi networks, strong passwords, virtual private networks (VPNs), and two-factor authentication are just a few of the attack prevention tactics covered in depth in the book.

If you want to learn more about cybersecurity and get some easy-to-follow tips, then "A Non-Techie Beginners’ Guide to Cybersecurity and Privacy" is a great place to start.

Gift to my grandma

I read this book to give to my grandparents and it did not disappoint. It was really beneficial, even to me (a millennial). The book really helped me learn how to keep my online information safe. I didn't know as much about online dangers as I thought I did, and the book helped fill in some gaps. The book goes pretty in depth on each topic, I think my grandparents are going to enjoy. It's a great guide for anyone who feels confused about keeping their data secure on the internet.

Excellent Guide!

This is a great foundational book for the digital age. As the title says, this is a beginner's guide to cybersecurity. It does a great job of taking these fundamental tech issues, explaining what they are, why they're essential, and how to protect yourself. I highly recommend "A Non-Techie Beginners' Guide to Cybersecurity and Privacy."

I feel much safer now

Clearly written, comprehensive and meticulously researched. There’s a lot of things I discovered in these pages that made my identity and electronic life infinitely safer. Most of the hacks don’t cost a penny, either. Well worth the time spent reading
