Roberta Helmer was born in Dayton, Ohio, U.S.A., an is a descendant of Revolutionary War hero Adam Helmer. She attended the University of Pennsylvania and obtained a doctorate in classical Chinese literature at Ohio State University, where she learned to speak fluent Chinese, French, and Japanese. Later, she worked as translator and as a consultant to the National Geographic Society and the American Museum of Natural History. She lived in on the western slopes of McDowell Mountains in Arizona.

Code Name: Christmas by Christina Skye
Kit O'Halleren is alone on Christmas Eve. She's sent her dogs to the handlers for the missions they've been trained for. Something out in the darkness is making her uneasy.
Wolfe Houston knows a storm is coming. "He can smell it on the wind." The Navy SEAL knew it was Kit's first Christmas without the dogs and he had fought hard for the chance to be with her.
A very short, 9 page romantic interlude. Love, dedication, and a hint of what can be found in the other Code Name series books. A great taste and reminder of how wonderful the books are.
