Craft books like this give all good craft books a bad name... The author concentrates on a technique that she "developed" (borrowed?) that has you creating mosaics relatively fast. Unfortunately, all the finished examples are rather boring or just downright ugly. The "traditional" way of laying mosaic isn't actually difficult and the outcomes are way better than what you have from this book.
