So the story premise us good. The writing was a huge distraction away from the story. Pronouns were so inconsistent that it was difficult to tell who was talking. The syntax errors were also very bad. The word - mate- was inconsistently enterchanged with the words friend and companion causing confusion. It felt like there were chapters missing as the story jumped time in what seemed like the middle of a scene. I have read almost this exact story on a pay by chapter app... the app had fewer mistakes, that is saying a lot when you consider half the app books are written by AI or are poorly translated into English.
Wish I could say it was worth the money but it really wasn't. The fight scene with her sister wasn't in the book and it jumped from a meeting with her parents to two weeks later and hints of what happened to her parents... Very disappointed, wish I'd read the reviews first but like I said the first part of the book was so good...
The story was good, but the editing is terrible. I've read this book on paid platforms and I know there are parts missing, there is a lot of bad grammar, and it's written in a way that it's painfully obvious the writer is not an English speaker. It really wasn't worth buying.
It starts off nice and then loses steam and skips important parts of the plot, leaving lots of questions. Plus the translation is horrible, switching words like "mate" to friend or buddy, instead of the bonded soul mate.
It has a lot grammatical errors and more than a few spelling errors. The story seems to skip over and miss parts of the story line. I have read books on free sites that had been edited better. Sadly, I paid for this one 😐
DNF stopped at around 35% I usually finish what I start reading even if it isn't the best. I liked the concept of the book, however the lack of editing and plot holes just made it one I was unable to force myself to finish.
