This book is about tricks in math and how to apply them. Also this book is about theorems in math that work and can be proven in geometry or any other math. But i am bringing up the subject of geometry because his book actually helps me in geometry a lot because in geometry you don't always have a lot of time to do things such as a proof and if you read this book, It will tell you bunch of short cuts that can help you in any kind of math time wise. And i highly recommend this to anyone in the 10th grade because it specifically helps me in geometry if i forget my calculator. Since this book shows me so many tricks i can now do math without a calculator. I liked this book because literally on every page i learned something new. Also i liked this book because there wasn't anything misleading about the book because sometimes i get a really long problem and using the calculator would be a hassle at the moment, i then use math tricks to make the problem significantly shorter. BUt then again the book wasn't like a story or anything it was more of like a book about math and how things work. But for me personally like to read factual books like this because i like to know why things work and that is precisely what this book does.

As a trained mathematician, reading this book made me furious. I can't speak for later printings, but the copy I was given (2nd printing) is marked up with corrections, questions, and various expressions of disbelief all over the place. There are so many factual errors and false deductions, I couldn't believe this book had passed an editor. I give the author credit for his curiosity and style of presentation, but with so many other books of this type available, I strongly advise you to consider an alternative title.
