Hooray, girl adventures! Madge is very plucky and has an Anne Shirley kind of sensibility about her. She takes her friends on a sailing trip aboard their very own houseboat, getting into small scrapes along the way. The story of Mollie is a bit implausible, but I've come to expect that from these early young adult books.

Charming to say the least

It was quaint and fun to read. Not too hard to miss any characters. Fast with quick situations which was not too hard to work out.

Good fun. Madge isn't your typical 'good girl' of these early century books, in fact she is quite reckless and has a temper. The girls and their chaperone get a houseboat and have some pretty decent adventures. A little dated, but enjoyable
