For months now Jayde Kimberland has been touring from city to city with her best friend, Arianna Moore, as The Daughters of Darkness. Living the dream most musician would kill for, they were known as the opening act for the platinum selling rock group, From Yesterday.

With Arianna battling demons of her own, Jayde found what she thought was her Prince Charming within rocker bad boy, Cash O’Brien. As the tour came to a close, the distance between them pulled like the tuning key turning to tighten one of their guitar strings. When Nate Daniels walks back into the picture, she’s faced with the possibility of having the life with the man she loved years ago or trying to hold onto a reckless Cash.

Everywhere Jayde turns she is hit with a curve ball, shattering everything she tries to build. But one person is there to help pick up the pieces no matter what. But as tragedy reveals its ugly head, she finds herself lost, lonely, and confused on what the future may hold. Will she be able to let go of the past and find happiness within her future or will she have to forever deal with the shattering effects of a love long gone?

JAYDE (Behind the Words Series #2) by Savannah Stewart
*was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review

JAYDE is the second book in the Behind the Words Series but can be read as a complete Standalone. I would suggest reading ARIANNA first just so you have the whole background but it is not needed to enjoy this beautiful story. This book is all about the HEARTS: Heartsick, Heartache, Heartbreak, Heartthrobs, Heartbeats and Sweethearts.

From the very beginning of the Prologue, my Heart was sick for the loss that JAYDE was experiencing. I mean reading it, I had no idea what was going on but I wanted to find out fast. This book was amazing. I will not tell you any details because I would never spoil it but my heart soared and plummeted like I truly was on a roller coaster. I know it is cliché but it is true. Savannah Stewart took me on a ride of a life time. To say I loved this book is really not enough.

I never, walk away from a book, I mean never! However, at one point I almost threw my kindle across the room and was bawling like a huge baby. I had to walk away and just breathe. Savannah Stewart had me holding my breath.

I loved all the characters and wanted to be part of the group. JAYDE is filled with hunky rock stars, hot sex, and a look at what maybe happens behind the scene. JAYDE is about the life people lead off the road, the mistakes and mishaps that are life, and how choices affect not just one person but all who are around them.

You will love them all…JAYDE, NATE, CASH, ARIANNA, SAWYER, SASHA, JAKE and RILEY!!

JAYDE by Savannah Stewart receives 5 out of 5 PLATYPIRES!!!
TEXAS HUGS and HAPPY READING!!!

Jayde -Behind the Words Series #2
by Savannah Stewart
---------------------------------------------------------------
5 Stars for an outstanding emotional story line. BOX OF TISSUE ALERT!!

Jayde - Behind the Words Series #2 is the second installment in the Behind the Words series by Savannah Stewart. Even though this is the second book in the series it can be read as a standalone. However, you may enjoy reading Arianna (the first book in the series) to get a better understanding of the characters portrayed throughout.

Jayde does focus mainly around Jayde Kimberland in this constantly topsy turvy rollercoaster ride that fate just has to rears its ugly head at almost every turn. The opening prologue had me riveted to my seat with the question of who and how and what the hell is going on. Then OMG I'm hooked.
The main characters in Jayde are:
-Jayde Kimberland the second half of musical duo The Daughters of Darkness, who has been living the dream as the opening act for the rock group known as From Yesterday.
-Nate Daniels He's the sexy, romantic true gentleman "good boy" the one constant person, in Jayde life, who would do anything for Jayde, anything.
-Cash O'Brien - The sassy oozes sex appeal drummer for From Yesterday. Who can't seem to get his head screwed on straight. Drugs, booze and groupies seem to follow this bad boy around. He cares for Jayde or so he says.

As the tour winds down Jayde returns home to Kentucky and almost at once her world begins to crumble around her. In no time she finds herself lost, lonely, and utterly confused dealing with a cheating lover and an unexpected pregnancy. Jayde has no choice but to make decisions that haunt her constantly leaving her second guessing her every move. And just when she thinks her life is going great fate rears its ugly head again and throws a complete and utterly devastating tragedy at her doorstep.
Will Jayde be able to let go of the past and try to find happiness again? How will she deal with the shattered love now gone and the decisions she made? ...................

Jayde is one dynamic emotional story of heartbreaking loss, hope and undying love that on more than one occasion had me wanting to slap Jayde up against the head and yell "what are you thinking". I cried, I laughed, I cried some more. I became so engrossed in this story that I did not want to put this book down until I was finished reading the very last sentence.
Hats off to Savannah Stewart for the outstanding job of writing Jayde and making sure the characters from her first book (Ariannia) were intertwined in this story line. Her next book in the series is Poppy one which I look forward to reading.

Book 2 of the series focuses on Jayde, one half of the duo The Daughters of Darkness. As Ariannia deals with her own demons, Jayde starts out in a new duo with Nate an old flame from the past, also putting distance between her and Rocker bad boy Cash as she returns to her Hometown. Can they survive the distance, or will the distance break them…

I was hooked from page one, and I can guarantee you will be too. I admit I thought I knew where this book was going but the Author Savannah Stewart did not disappoint in surprising me. Jayde has a roller coaster ride and not of the fun kind. No matter which way she turns she comes up against another big decision and just when she thinks she has things on an even keel, fate decides otherwise.

I loved that you got too see all the characters from Ariannia’s story make appearances in this book, keeping you in touch with how they are doing, if you’re the kind of reader who always wonders what happens to other characters of a book you will love how Savannah Stewart keeps you updated. She also puts in POV from Nate and Cash and she does it really well.

You will get angry, you will laugh, and you will cry. Get tissues at the ready…

I can not wait to read Book #3 of the series, Poppy’s story….

Wow! Savannah Stewart did it again! She literally rocked my world with JAYDE – BEHIND THE WORDS #2. Arianna’s book has been a 5 Star read for me as well, but this one… I’d give it even more if I could! It is such a beautiful, heartbreaking and highly emotional story that I’ve never wanted to put it down, I mean who needs sleep anyway? I just couldn’t stop reading!

Jayde and her best friend Arianna once built the successful female rock duo The Daughters of Darkness. While on tour with the famous rock band From Yesterday Jayde had some kind of a relationship with a member of the band, Cash. After the tour Arianna needs time off to find closure with her past, Jayde is left off alone, the distance making it hard to keep their connection straight.
When her childhood crush Nate asks her to build a band with her she gladly accepts.
Still holding onto her dating with Cash, she decides to surprise him one day – only to be badly surprised herself… Utterly devastated she needs someone to pick up the pieces, to mend her broken heart – and Nate is there to help her.

Who will she choose in the end – sexy and sassy bad boy Cash who rocks her world but of whose love she never is really sure or Nate – a sexy and romantic gentleman that loves her genuinely and only wants what’s best for her?

It is not easy to write a review about this book without giving too much away. So I’ll just stop right here.
Let me just say the story is an intense and emotional roller coaster ride with lots of twists and turns you won’t be expecting. Jayde has to make many tough decisions and every time life is going to get better for her again she is thrown another curveball.

I loved the characters! Be it Jayde, trying to make the right decisions and not wanting to be a burden to everyone. She is strong, independent and selfless – I could not help but feel for her all the way. My heart broke for her – for all the tragedy she has to endure.
Nate… oh, Nate. He is wonderful – caring, sensitive and soon becomes Jayde’s rock in the world.
He truly is a gentleman. I loved him!!
Then there is Cash. A bad boy who made some really crappy decisions that pushed Jayde away. He says he only ever loved her… but is it enough?
These guys are the complete the opposite, yet the same. I would not want to be the one to choose between them!

This book simply blew me away!! There are not many books out there that get me teary-eyed – let alone ugly cry, but this one surely did that to me! I cried… badly. I was a sobbing sniffing mess at some point!!

Savannah did an awesome job – her writing is beautiful and her plotting very clever…starting off with a prologue like this… Wow!!! I enjoyed reading this book a lot and it surely will be one of my favorite reads of 2014!

Although it is a standalone novel I recommend reading Arianna’s story beforehand to have all the background as Jayde’s and Cash’s story starts back then already.

JAYDE – BEHIND THE WORDS #2 is definitely a must read!
Be sure to have tissues ready! You will need them within the first few pages already!!

I cannot wait for the next book of this series!!

OH! MY! GOD! This book had me hooked, scared, excited and about 10 other emotions. I’ve never wanted to peek at the end of a book so badly! I didn’t, thank goodness, that never is a good thing. I was so into the story already and only on page TWO which is the prologue! In book one we got Arianna & Brydon’s story and since Jayde is her BFF we know what’s going on between her and Cash as well. Jayde’s story seems a bit more complicated (in a good way) but we still have the band members as back characters. They aren’t as prominent since they aren’t on actual tour but they are still very much there.

Jayde’s parents died in a car accident when she was pretty young and she went into foster care where she met Arianna and they became instant friends/sisters. Just like Arianna, Jayde internalizes everything. She’s all in her head about things and creates big mountains out of little hills. Until Nate! WOW! Nate is so patient and he’s known her for so long that she can’t do it with him. He sees through her and makes her tell him what’s going on. This forces her to tear down her walls. I so love Nate! SOOO much. He’s completely selfless and again where he gets his patience from…..I wish I had it!

I know I mentioned Nate when we thought Jayde was with Cash. Let me tell you that as soon as you think one thing something happens and it’s not what you think it will be. I had this book figured out…..about half a dozen times! LOL No Spoilers!!! You will have to read!

Cash was sex…..right? Was there a relationship there? Does he love her? Does she love him? Can you love two people at the same time? Then there’s the whole forgiveness thing….forgiveness seems easy - it’s the forgetting that’s hard! And I’m not saying that Cash did something wrong…..Jayde isn’t perfect either. She’s gotten herself in quite the mess. Keeping herself closed off from people, guilt, shame and lying all float around in her head and she has to make seriously hard decisions. Will she do the right thing? Make the right decisions?

Ok bad part: for me I wouldn’t consider this standalone at all. Arianna and Jayde grew up together and there is a whole host of history and character building that goes on in the first book. I highly recommend reading that one first. Plus, it’s amazing!

That being said, this book is even better than the first and I loved that one too!! Jayde is such a complicated person but she’s sweet and so wants to do the right thing all the time. The hotness factor is so good!!! Very HOT! You won’t be disappointed!! The end is so great - her story for the most part does end but it’s also open enough that I know we’ll see more of them in the next book. At least I hope!

Poppy’s story is next and I. Can’t. Wait. It’s going to be sooooo freaking good! Savannah Stewart you have a new big FAN!!! Your writing is so amazing I felt like I was watching a movie in my head. I could so visually see everything that was going on, but I don’t feel that there was unnecessary descriptions or added length. It was just all part of the easy writing and the amazing story. Definitely a MUST read!!!

ARC received for an honest review

Though this is book 2 in the Behind the Words series, Jayde can be read as a standalone book. I have not read the first book (Arianna) yet, but this did not detract anything from this book.

From the minute I read the Prologue to Jayde, I knew I would be shedding a tear at some stage, and that we would be taken on an emotional rollercoaster.

And I was so right!

Feeling she and her boyfriend Cash are drifting apart, she surprises him on the road one day, only to find him in a compromising position, and her heart is shattered. She gets some unexpected news and life sure throws her a curve ball!!!

Nate has been a big part of her life for a long time, and he is the person she turns to when everything turns to crap. She goes ahead and makes some pretty big life changing decisions ~ not always the best decisions.

While I loved Nate and how much he loves Jayde, I just LOVED Cash. Yeah he f&*ks up, yeah he is a damn mess, but there was just something about him that you just can't help but love. He loves Jayde enough to let her go, no matter how much it hurts him to do so.

When tragedy strikes, Jayde hits pretty much rock bottom, and leans heavily on those around her to pull through. But can her heart take any more? Who will be the one to heal her and make her smile again? Or will the secrets and lies from the past keep everyone at arm's length and her heart untouched?

Uh uh, you will need to find out for yourself.

From the prologue to the epilogue, Ms Stewart drew me right into their world. Jayde is a story of love. Betrayal.Tragedy. Loss. Second chances and redemption. It is heart breaking but heartwarming. There were twists and turns in the story that kept my on my toes the whole way through. I am a bit of a sucker for a second chance romance, and this was just a beautiful written story that I couldn't help but love everything about it.

Now I need to go back and read Aria and Bryden's story, while impatiently waiting for Poppy (and I am assuming Riley's story from what happened in Jayde!!) to come out!

"Life was unfair...it was a cruel bitch that wanted to cause others pain and would stop at nothing to do just that."

Wow. There was so much that went on in this story that it’s hard not to give anything away, but I will try my best. Even though this is book 2 in the Behind the Words series, I was told it could be read as a standalone so I didn’t read Arianna’s story first. I didn’t really have any problems keeping up with the story itself, but I felt like it would’ve been more beneficial to read book 1 first to build a relationship with all of the characters. However, that didn’t keep me from falling in love with these characters at all.

Jayde opens with a heartbreaking scene and we know immediately something terrible has happened, just not exactly what or to whom. Then, we go back to the beginning…

Jayde Kimberland is one half of the Daughters of Darkness duo, the other half being her BFF Arianna. The duo toured with the famous rock band From Yesterday, and Jayde is in a relationship with the sexy, bad boy drummer, Cash O’Brien. It’s been a while since she’s seen Cash so she decides to surprise him. The surprise is on her when she walks in on Cash in a compromising position with a blonde on her knees in front of him. Needless to say, she is heartbroken and can’t believe she was stupid enough to think he actually cared for her or was faithful to her.

Nate Daniels is a very talented and well-known songwriter, and Jayde’s current duo partner. He’s loved Jayde for a while, and after being there to help her pick up the pieces when Cash broke her heart, he finally has his chance. He’s the perfect guy – sexy, sweet, caring, and thoughtful – who wouldn’t love him? Jayde doesn’t want to ruin their professional relationship but if she doesn’t give it a shot, she’ll regret never knowing what could’ve been.

When Jayde’s world is rocked with a major bombshell, she asks Nate to keep a VERY BIG secret. He agrees, not because he is okay with what she has decided, but because he loves her. That doesn’t keep Jayde from second guessing her decision over and over. She can’t help but feel like she is holding Nate back from his life, but she loves him too much to let him go. She’s not being fair to Cash, either. Yes, he screwed up and his life is in a major downward spiral, but would it be different if he knew the truth?

Jayde’s story is terribly tragic, but it still manages to work out in the end. It is a perfect example of how one decision can (and will) affect your entire life, as well as everyone’s around you. This story is just as much heartbreaking as it is heartwarming, so be sure to keep those tissues handy! I’ll definitely be looking for more from this author.

**I admit it, I originally gave this story 4 stars but the more I thought about it, the more I realized it deserved 5. The only reason I gave it 4 was because I personally didn't like the decisions of some of the characters, they pissed me off and broke my heart! But the fact that Jayde could draw those emotions from me proves it is a great, very well written story.**

Wow! Holy buckets! This one is a tear jerker!! Have a tissue or two handy... you may need it! This book grips your heart until the very end.

As you know Jayde is in the band. Arianna left because of her own issues and left her with Nate. Nate, the man she used to love years ago. Things are going well, until something shocking happens and he's there to help her pick up the pieces. But can she handle the truth, the lies and the life built upon it?

Nate has loved Jayde for a long time. He enjoys singing with her in the band and working on songs together. He's got his own money and fame, but only wants her and nothing else, if she will just have him.

But then there's Cash. The one man Jayde is severely loving. Can he get to keep her or will things ruin it for them?

There are so many shocking revelations in this book, I'm having a hard time trying to keep the spoilers at bay.

Let me say I loved this book! I loved the characters and the pain, sympathy and love they have for each other. I was angry, hurt, and in pain in a few spots too. I felt with them when they cried and gutted me a time or too.

I loved Jayde. I loved what she wanted and why she did things. Did I agree with her 100%, I don't know but I've never been in a situation like that. But if I was, I think I might have done the same. I loved that she wanted to do the right thing. She didn't want to be a burden on anyone. I loved how she loved both men. I loved her friendship with Arianna, Riley, Bryden, Sadie.. I loved seeing them in the book as well with her. You will feel for her, want to hug her and sympathize with her. Overall, I think she's a remarkable woman and has wonderful people surrounding her life.

Nate- oh my gosh! What a man! He's truly into Jayde and so in love with her. I can't begin to say how much I loved him and how much I adored him and everything he did. He's sexy, romantic and a true gentleman. Oh my.. just wonderful.

Cash- um, well- it's no lie, yes he is a sexy, sassy band member. He may be in love with Jayde, but is he fully? You will be angry with him, hurt with him and then might even like him. He's only loved Jayde, but is that enough?

This book is a tear jerker. Makes you think about the one little mistake you could make and the consequences of them. (Very vague but if you've read it you will know what I mean)

If you love music, friends, sexy rock men, loving kind gentlemen, sexy bad boys and more then you will love this book. Be prepared for a crazy emotional ride that will grip you until the end.

And the end... I enjoyed it! I loved seeing all the other characters from book 1 and am now eagerly awaiting Poppy's story!

5 stars from me.

Angela's 5 Star Review

A copy of the book was gifted by the author in exchange for an honest review.

"Everything in life happens for a reason, you might not know the reason then, but one day you will."

Jayde Kimberland is the second half of musical duo The Daughters of Darkness with her best friend Arianna Moore, most recently they have been known as the opening act for the rock group From Yesterday.
Jayde has been dating Cash O'Brien from the band From Yesterday, she feels they have been drifting apart from all of the touring. Jayde decides to surprise Cash, only the surprise is on her own when she finds Cash cheating on her. Jayde is now left completely and utterly devastated. Her world around her begins to crumble from the aftermath.

Nate Daniels is the man Jayde once loved years ago and he's now back in her life. With Cash out of the picture Nate and Jayde grow closer to one another. Life throws Jayde another loop in her crazy life, and who's the one person in her life to help her with this.....Nate. He's the one constant person who has become her everything and she depends on him. Jayde and Nate decide to move forward with the relationship and rekindle there lost love.

"I just want to be the person to catch you when you fall, to help you realize what you deserve out of life, and just how special you are."

Unfortunately things for Jayde don't get any better because sometimes life just sucks, and throws you the biggest curve ball you will ever face in your life. This is one Jayde is sure she can never recover from.

Buckle up because it's going to be a bumpy ride, this story will not only have you in tears so keep a box of Kleenex near by, you'll also laugh, and maybe toss your e-reader at times.

Savannah did an amazing job writing Jayde, the second installment of her Behind the World Series, if you have not read the first one I recommend doing so, it's not necessary. This was another beautiful book by such a talented author.

"I can't say that we will be perfect, but I don't want anything as much as I want you. I want us to work, always have. So if you want to try this....then I'm all in, baby."

This is a novel that will have your heart feeling Jayde’s pain. This was definitely an emotional novel but it made me enjoy it because I could connect with what the characters were feeling. Jayde has not had it easy, and surprises are not always the good kind especially when it happens to her. However, when someone that cares about her shows up (she definitely doesn’t want him to) another door opens. Will she be able to overcome and start opening up or will her past and current pain be to much?
This is a standalone book, but now that I have read it I will definitely have to go check out Arianna’s story (book 1) because you get glimpses of what she has gone through and now she plays a big part to help Jayde through her emotional roller coaster. However, the prologue had me hooked because I immediately wanted to know what was going on! The author throws in twists that will have your mind wheeling. The characters were well written (even though I didn’t like one in particular) and the storyline to me kept me involved from the beginning to end. Make sure to grab a box of issues when you read this because there will be moments. I have to say this author is amazing when she writes! Grab this one and you won’t regret it. :)

I needed a few days to write this review after reading the novel. Jayde opens with the tragic scene of Daughters of Darness guitarist, Jayde Kimberland, heartbroken and desolate over the loss of someone important to her. We don't as yet know who this man is becuase of Savannah Stewart's clever use of pronouns. Ultimately, this trick makes us dive into the story since we absolutely have to know who the missing "He" is...

Ms. Stewart writes characters that are so realistic and relatable. You could very well place them among friends even though they are musicians and rockstars. I felt every single emotion that Jayde felt throughout the novel. I was just as angry, confused, elated and grief-stricken in all those pivotal moments as our heroine.

Beautifully written, with characters that jump off the page, Jayde shows us that love can both destroy us and save us. Theses bandmates and friends pull together to form a family that is supportive and giving. We get a glimpse into the lives of Arianna and Bryden; as well as, some clues to the upcoming release Poppy. Every character has a role to play in this novel, which just makes you want to read about each and every one of them.

I loved the first book in the behind the words series but this one blew me away with how emotional it was, I cried like a baby in parts, the prologue for one.

I don’t want to give away spoilers, so I won’t go into huge details of the story.

Jayde has to make some huge decisions in this book and those decisions haunt her throughout the story, there are twist and turns and plot bombs you never expect but the story unfolds into a beautiful ending. This book grips your heart until the very end.

Nate is such a good kind selfless guy, he is good to Jayde but there was alway the thought in the back of my mind that even though Cash made a douche bag move he was the one Jayde should be with.

This book will take you on emotional roller coaster that will have you hooked from the start. It’s a definite must read.
Each book so far in this series can be read as a stand alone but you do get more of a feel for the characters if you read Arianna first.

I cannot wait for more in the behind the words series, I love this group of people.

"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."

WOW! This is a very emotional book - get your tissues ready, and maybe sit somewhere unnoticeable!
I had not read the previous book in the series (although I now have every intention of doing so), but these characters became real to me very quickly. Because of the prologue, we know there is heartache; but the unveiling of the story is cleverly done. When you get to the bit, well, ugly tears, that's my prediction! And then ... no I have no intention of revealing spoilers

Suffice it to say that this book gives your lacrimal glands a good workout and tells a fabulous story. It has gone firmly into my reread folder - much like the ER episode of Mark in Hawaii - for when I need to just let it all out.

Overall it is a book about forgiveness, redemption, and most of all love - read it and see!

Savannah Stewart really knows how to bring out the emotions in me. This book was amazing and did not disappoint.

Jayde and Cash seemed to have drifted apart. She decides to surprise Cash one day and her world crumbles in the aftermath of finding out that Cash has been cheating on her.

Then life seems to throw her for another loop, but her long time friend, Nate, is there to pick up the pieces and be there for her. He has become her everything. She still loves Cash in his own way, but Nate is the one that has been faithful to her and pulled her through the dark times.

Fate isn't done with her yet and she must face an even bigger disaster. One she's not sure she can get through.

Be ready with a box of tissues. This book is going to make you cry. It will make you laugh, yes, but this is one of those books that seems to drop a couple bombs and you aren't expecting them. Definitely a must read!

This book was as enjoyable for me as book 1, but much more emotional.

This book also brings in characters I loved from book 1 such as Arianna and Bryden. For me it enhances book 1 even more, especially as I read this one immediately after finishing Arianna.

Jayde has to go through a lot of different emotions during her story. It begins with a tragedy, and then takes us back in time, allowing us to discover exactly how she got there. As a reader you will think you know where the story is going, but prepared to be surprised over and over again as the twists keep coming.

I honestly found myself wanting Jayde to end up with one person, but I was pleasantly surprised with where the author took the story. I almost cried along with her as certain parts of the story were explained.

The story ends well, but it takes time to get there, which is what makes the book as good as it is. A great addition to the series and I can't wait to see where the author takes the characters next.

(Strong language, Sex , Mature Readers)

Jayde is the second book in the Behind the Words Series and I have to say I loved this book as much as the first and WILL be reading the third installment. There is great chemistry between the characters and you get pulled into to the story. Jayde is the other member of the rock duo The Daughters of Darkness, she grew up in the same foster home as her best friend and other member of The Daughters of Darkness, Arianna after her parents died. She had been dating Cash the drummer for From Yesterday since The Daughters of Darkness had went on tour with them and she’s fallen head over hills for him. But things happen to break them apart and her old friend and current singing partner Nate finally has his opening to be with Jayde. What will Jayde do as life throws curve balls at her and situations get more complicated at every turn. Should she give Cash another chance or be with Nate?

5 Star Review of Jayde

Jayde was such an emotional roller coaster for me, that is for sure.

I am so happy that Jayde got her book. It starts off just after the events of Arianna. Heartbroken and prettyh by herself she finds someone she can lean on. Through the surprises life throws, she manages to find love. But tragedy strikes and leaves her heartbroken once again. Enter her past too help her heal, and a huge secret revealed. All on her journey to love.

😍Jayde is by far the best ugly cry book I have read to date. My heart broke into a bazillion pieces for her, Nate and Cash( not a love triangle). It was beautifully written, with an amazing group of characters, a phenomenal plot and a great happy ending.

Ms Stewart definitely knows how to pack such emotion into her words and makes her readers feel them. I felt every emotion right along with Jayde. She weaved an amazing story that will forever stand out in my mind as the best.

I received a complimentary copy of this amazing gem. Savannah did amazing job with this second installment of her Behind the Words series. I was blown away with the twists in this book. Jayde had some important decisions to make, and she did what she thought was best at the time. Her decision haunts her throughout the book. When a tragic event takes place things start to come out. I don't want to give away spoilers, so I can't give the review I would love to give this book. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
This book will take you on emotional roller coaster that will have you hooked from the start. It's a definite must read.
If you haven't read the first installment to this series I highly recommend doing so, but it's not necessary. Both books can be read as a standalone.
Another amazing book from this author.

Savannah did it...she made me UGLY CRY!!! This book is an emotional roller coaster full of highs & lows. As we know from book one, Arianna, these girls have grown up fighting to survive & this story deals Jayde yet another shitty hand. I don't like spoilers so I'm not going to go into detail but Jayde pulled me in even more than I thought was possible starting with the first chapter. Speaking of the first chapter, I LOVED how Savannah started this book (very clever, btw)...it sucks you in from page one & you won't be able to stop reading because you want all of the ANSWERS!! This book is a MUST read in my opinion!! I love the story of this group & can't wait for the next book in the series!

My Gosh!

Another beauty from Savannah.

Jayde´s story was absolutely amazing. Her story is really emotional charged and engrossing. I was sucked in from the first page and was gripped ´til the end. I could not stop reading.

It is a captivating blend of strong emotions: heart-warming passion, light-hearted fun and heartbreaking moments that tug at your heart strings. Delivers on fully.

The storyline is incredible and engaging and amazingly written and the characters are well-developed.

It is truly extraordinary beautiful.

Wow. This is a really brilliant read. The author took me on an emotional roller coaster of a ride.

JAYDE is a great character. She's so strong yet my heart broke for her during this story.
Love Cash. I do love a bad boy. Nate is fabulous. Just love him.

I'm not going to say much about the story. It really is a great storyline. It really is a breathtaking story that may have you sobbing or even throwing your kindle. Yes it's one of them reads!!!

I haven't read book one. I felt the author did such a great job I didn't feel that I was losing out on any part of the story. However this book certainly has me wanting to read book one and I'm looking forward to reading book three.

Wow! I loved the story of Jayde. This one I read while on the beach a few weeks ago! Needless to say, I forgot to flip over and roasted like a chicken!

What happens when the man you are falling head over heels for does the unthinkable? You push him as far as possible, but what happens when there is a glitch in leaving?

Jayde has a choice to make? Does she tell Cash or take it to the grave? With the help of Nate, her plan works, but life's not that simple,

This story is one that will have you pissed at Cash, and all over the place for Nate. Savannah does an awesome job making the story come to life, and I can't for Poppy!

AS much as I loved Arianna (Book 1), I LOVED Jayde!!!!!

Jayde's story to me was so emotionally heart wrenching. Jayde and Cash, a member of From Yesterday. They hooked up while they toured together. Both a little bit of a badass rocker attitude. And it worked for them,

But this story is also about Nate, a lost love that didn't know he was a lost love. Heartbreak, lost love, new life , new beginnings.

Again, I felt what Jayde was going through and I cried. I love books that can make me cry. Go get these awesome books. I can't wait for the 3rd book, Poppy's story!!!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!! What can I say about Jayde, definitely a tear jerker, but I knew this going into the book. Jayde is an over thinker who seems convinced that her happiness should come last, I'm glad she found two guys to prove her wrong. My only complaint was that I knew from the beginning of the book that there was a death coming, which drove me insane until I got to that part of the book. I literally couldn't put this book down!

I'm dying to know more about Riley, hopefully Savannah Stewart is thinking of writing that next :)

Loved love loved it

Love this author & the (Behind the Words) series. The characters are warm, strong & real. The storyline is gut wrenching but so breathtaking beautiful & the sex scenes have you holding your breath & sighing. I cried through the majority of it. That's how much it touched my heart. I loved it. If you like stories with some depth I recommended you read this story.

Well Savannah has done it once again. This series just keeps getting better and better. I loved how the characters had to make sacrifices to make sure that the ones that they loved were protected and taken care of. This book made me laugh, cry and scream and in the end true love prevailed. Such a lovely family. Thanks
