very thorough and detailed information

This handbook covers so much of what one can expect when having a child with Autism. It covers all the important things one needs to think about in regards to raising children on the spectrum. I like that it discusses safety both at home and in the community. It’s definitely important to get the neighborhood involved, in case your child wanders off.

Gaining insights into reducing challenges

I grabbed this book to help with teaching me on the ins and outs of effectively interacting with my new babysitting client. Although for parents I found this guide extremely easy to follow although I am not the parent. The best practices to reduce stress and improve communication and connection with kids on the spectrum was what I took away most from this book.
