(4☆ Would recommend) As an SLP, audiology coincides with my field, but it is not a strong suit of mine. The author did a great job of explaining things and the book was easy to follow.
Not my typical reading material, but I decided to include textbooks on goodreads since I’m reading so so much lately. I was not interested in audiology at all before reading about it, but I learned an incredible amount of information about the hearing system - all of its amazing parts and how they work - and actually kind of loved it. The body is a fascinating thing! Btw, if you ever need me to interpret your audiogram for you, I’m a superstar at it now!
confusing at times. often i would reread a section numerous times trying to grasp it, then get to class where the teacher would explain it in two seconds and it totally made sense. not sure if that's the book or me, though.
