Good take.

A little different story from Valentean. But a damn good one loved all the characters. Just a little long winded though out.

Exciting!

9/10
Not full marks because I struggled to get through the first chapter. It was weird, did nothing for me and I nearly gave up. Luckily for me I plodded on. Although I found it padded out in places it was easy to move on quickly. The odd typo but what the heck I was more interested in the drama....and what an exciting drama it turned out to be! It's gritty, it's tense and it's very addictive. Gangs at war, insults given but not taken kindly. When the dirt hits the fan it's explosive! There is more to crime and violence when you're the Boss...the Don, there is family and there are rules. Don't break any rules....but someone did! It's a powerful and thrilling read with violence, torture (so expect blood, lots of blood)) revenge and justice. There is a lot of emotion and a great big dollop of love running through the centre of the storyline and it just sucked me in. It all played out in my head perfectly so I couldn't give it less than 5* regardless of my niggles. Recommended.
