I read this book as part of the research I’m doing for a novel I’m writing, but I found it to be s very helpful reminder of why I want to write that novel. It was nice have permission to enjoy and get lost in the process of making art. I feel more confident in my abilities now and I no longer feel guilty about the time I spend writing or making any other kind of art.
