About the author

Gérard Noiriel is a French historian.
He is one of the pioneers of immigration history in France. He has also focused on the history of the working class, as well as on interdisciplinary and epistemological questions in history. In this regard, he contributed to the development of socio-historical studies and was involved in founding the journal Genèses. He is a director of studies at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS).

J’ai bien aimé le fait que la dernière phrase du livre s’intéresse à l’origine du nom « Bardella ». Pour l’anecdote, le nom vient de l’italien « selle », qui peut signifier à la fois la selle du cheval, ou les selles (caca).
Voilà c’est marrant, le livre ne précise pas de quelle selle on parle.

Un chap 3 s'intitulant Macron, le Daladier du XXI eme et une petite ouverture sur comment éviter les dérives, vraiment sympa du Noiriel tout craché.
