I thought I could live happily ever after with my two boyfriends. I was wrong. The handsome monster I brought to my anxiety personified, won’t leave me alone. Just like real anxiety, he lurks in the shadows and shows up whenever I start to relax into my perfect new life, ruining everything.
So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I went against all warnings and used the magic pen to cross him out.
I didn’t think it would make another one.
The hottest and most dangerous of
A guy made from my depression.
Now, I have four beautiful, dangerous ink guys after me…
…and one real man, an arrogant, insensitive jerk. He’s covered in tattoos and built like a tank—totally not my type.
But he’s the only one who has been through this before.
Even though we can’t stand each other, I can’t deny the white-hot chemistry growing between us…
Shadowplex is the second book in a hot new dark reverse harem series, Group Therapy. It explores trauma and mental health, but the focus is on the romantic relationships between the characters. This is the type of Why Choose where guys are added to the harem over time. This book in particular contains enemies-to-lovers, morally grey MCs, and, as usual with my books, extremely detailed spice. TWs inside.
The absolute plot twists this book contains 🤯. This book has kept me riveted to my phone while hubs drives us home from vacation. Can't talk; must find answers! Grace takes us for a whirlwind adventure, from adding men to her collection of boyfriends to a stalk£r boss to getting deeper into the mental health and inner conscious subworld. I loved every minute of it. This story really gets into the nitty gritty and then wollops you out of nowhere. I'm eagerly awaiting the next in this series, because I need answers!
Grace is back with her mental battle and her swoony ink men and asshole-ish real man to deal with.
This is a sort of psychological thriller with a RH at the heart of it. It's heavy at times but really well done. The only way I can describe the writing style is pure poetry. I have never really read another book like it, everything is so perfectly intertwined and you get glimpses of other things and then you aren't sure and get sucked back into it like you are in a dream state just like the characters at times. Amazing experience. The reverse harem and spice was mostly missing in this one, unfortunately it is kind of a pull back from the building relationships in the first book, but maybe that will come back? Looking forward to the next book.
