As someone who has "been there" this is THE best book I've read about the journey that is breast cancer... from diagnosis to moving on.
An honest account of the medical, emotional and mental process. An easy, often funny read but always with the seriousness of the situation close by. The darker days are not overlooked but this is a tale of determination and positive outlook. A must read for anyone who has been touched by Breast Cancer or those who want a candid peek into the experiences of a real life patient. Highly recommended.

This honest and humourous account of Bronwyn's journery was inspiring. She allowed you into her thoughts and answered those questions that you always wanted to ask your friend when they go through this. I personally gained a much better understanding of her treatment and also laughed out loud with her wicked sense of humour. I would recommend this book should you be diagnosed or if your friend has been diagnosed.

Once I started this book, I struggled to out it down. The story captures you right from the start. It is written straight from the heart and is funny, sad, raw, confronting and sometimes even crude! But one thing it is not is fake! I wish I had read something like this years to ago to have been better equipped to understand and empathise with cancer sufferers and the journey they travel from diagnosis through to treatment and hopefully cure. I am more than happy to recommend this book to everyone - whether you have been touched by cancer or not. Thank you Bronny for laying your soul bare for the benefit and education of others.
