I was fortunate enough to get an ARC copy of Unglued from the author in exchange for an honest review. Let me tell you what. I LOVED this book. I cried. I laughed. I fell in love all over again with Becca, Ethan and Brad and was left satisfied at the end. Brownell's writing is vibrant and descriptive. The plot and characters were well-developed. I devoured this book in one sitting. I highly recommend it. Wonderful sequel to Holding On!

Unglued is the lovely follow up to Holding On by Rachaell Brownell. The story picks up with Ethan, Becca and Brad a couple of years later. Busy with work and school they are settling into their lives when a game changer occurs.

I loved being able to see the growth of the characters in this book. With a couple of years under their belts, they are beginning to dealing with real and grown up issues. While the timeline jumped around a bit, going back and forth from past to present, I had some difficulty keeping up. In the beginning chapters I think that was how the author was linking later segments of the tale and needed some backstory for it to all come together.

This group of friends experience some very difficult situations and while they are able to endure some, others rock their foundation. Becca struggles with her love for Ethan and Brad and has to rely on her closest friend to help her navigate the state of affairs she finds herself in when forced to make a decision she is unprepared to make.

I'd like to think their will be one more book in this series so we can find where these friends end up. The last quarter of the book felt a bit rushed to come to it's conclusion and left me with a few lingering questions, but perhaps that was by design.

**I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

I was thrilled to read his follow up as I really enjoyed Holding On. What can I say that the other reviewers haven't already said? It turns out...not much...other than was a GREAT book. Pretty much everything one could want in a story—love, ansgst, drama, suspense...you get the idea. Long story short, Racheal Brownell did a fantastic job and I look forward to reading her future works.

I was lucky enough to win a signed copy on a Facebook giveaway! This is a good read! I laughed and shed a tear or two. There was even one point I wanted to yell at Becca "what are you thinking"... Kudos Rachael Brownell now I can't wait to read Ethan's Novella!

Becca has found her love with Ethan. Sadly brad is trying his hardest to win her back by kissing her when she least expects it, knowing that it confuses Becca so much what do you do? Brad whom she's known since Jr high only wanting to be best of friends because she doesn't want to loose brad' s friendship. Yet brad wants more. Or Ethan whom she met when starting in a new state. You need to read. You'll laugh, cry and than probably get mad. Great story line.

What an emotional roller coaster! Becca is still fighting with her heart. This one has more to do with loss. How much can one person take before they snap?

Good continuation from book one. I was really happy that the author jumped ahead in time, so we could see slightly more mature main characters. Definitely recommend to others.

Wow, I couldn't put down this book. Literally. I read this and book 2 until 4am because I just HAD to know how they'd turn out. Thank god, it turned out the way I wanted it to. But the journey was the interesting part.

So in Book 1 -

Brad and Becca have been best friends for almost their entire lives. He has a girlfriend and she's trying to stay oblivious to her own feelings. Until Becca finds out she's moving two thousand miles away. Then Brad kisses her and puts her in a tailspin. It breaks her heart that she's finally realizing that he felt the same way as she did when she's just leaving. What a horrible way to go. But she tells him that she wants to remain friends because the frienship is more important to her. She didn't want to get into a relationship then watch it fall apart because of the distance.

She moves away. And unexpectedly, she meets a guy, Ethan in her new school who takes her breath away. Suddenly her world is all abut Ethan. But the problem is she still loves Brad. So she's one super confused girl who's trying to figure out where her heart belongs. Brad doesn't help when he pretty much forces his way back to her.

Book 2 -

Everyone's pretty much in college and/or has a job. Ethan and Becca have been together for 4 or 5 years at this point I think. But things get serious in this book. Ethan has to move away to England for a job. Becca doesn't want to hold him back, so she agrees to marry him and move there with him. But as the day approaches, she panics and Ethan finds out that she's not ready. Cue a major fight. He leaves with her engagement ring and she stays behind with a shattered heart. She falls apart. I won't tell you the rest. But watching Becca fall apart was so sad. Especially when something else bad happens which makes her feel worse. Brad of course forces his way back in and she's trying to deal with that too. She has too many balls in the air and she can't catch them all. Will she remain broken or will she rise out of the ashes like a phoenix? That's the major question in this book.

This book will be much more heartwrenching than the first book. There is a happily ever after in this book. But how it gets resolved is what you should find out by reading this book. You won't regret it.

Overall I really enjoyed this story though it was a little drawn out between Becca and Ethan finding their way back to one another. I was a little disappointed that loose ends weren't tied up with Morgan and Brad - hopefully Ethan's story will give them a happy ending as well.
