Good overview of acupuncture philosophy and TCM

I volunteer at a holistic center, and I work with an acupuncturist, so I decided I want to learn more about this modality. This book provides a great overview of acupuncture. It discusses the history of acupuncture, how acupuncturists work to help people treat symptoms. The book discusses how acupuncture can be used a preventive medicine, which I had never thought of before. The author does a good job of explaining the concepts which are rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine in a straightforward manner.

Great
A good outline of what acupuncture is and the thought processes used in Chinese medicine compared to western medicine. How the Yin & Yang theory works as well as how the body corresponds to the Yin & Yang of our living environments.
