Learning Nessus for Penetration Testing book covers overview of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing in very simple and effective manner. Its life cycle stages are covered in detail and that gives a strong base to not only beginner but to the experience reader and hence it is a strong point of this book. It provides detailed information on installation and configuration of Nessus. For Vulnerability exploiting, different examples have been given and that is sufficient as per my understating to explore the product. My favourite part of the book is Compliance Check Section where PCI DSS compliance and VMware vCenter/vSphere Compliance Check related overview is also given. Overall this is an informative book.

This book is perfect for newbies, if you start your career in Pentesting, this book will help you to have a good overview of Nessus, from installation to vulns scans.
I recommend the book.
