With Blood Prize, Ken Grace has crafted a masterful, high-stakes story of absolute imagination. Thrilling action, gripping suspense and a devastating secret, ensure a breath-taking adventure that is impossible to put down.

It’s 5am and Tom Fox is running, trying to save his life, but he can’t escape the images that revisit his mind; vivid pictures of a woman with her throat torn open and the mutilation of a young man in a back alley of London.

Tom is on everyone’s most wanted list, yet he’s no felon. He flees, hunted like his father for what he knows. If Tom is to survive, he must locate an alien technology called the Prize, before it falls into the hands of the despots who are chasing him ... and leaves the world irretrievably altered.

Author’s Warning:
I have to caution you. If you open Blood Prize and begin to read, you will be in great danger and you won’t be able to turn back. Once it begins, your heart will start to race and your chest will tighten. Every rustle and alien noise will raise your anxiety. How could you ever relax knowing she’s out there?

I can understand your skepticism. They’re just characters in a story you say. How could they possibly hurt me?

Why? Because my dark ideas have come to fruition. Once the story of the Blood Prize is in your head, the characters are just as real as anything in your experience. You’ll feel what Tom feels … The fear, the hopelessness and eventually the power to fight back.

Now that you’ve begun, I can only hope you’re brave enough to see the journey through to its conclusion. You’ve gained incredible new-found powers along the way, but can you handle it?

You’ve become something unrecognisable … something not of this world.

I can only hope that you win the Prize and save us all.

Ken Grace is an Australian author. His debut novel Blood Prize was released in January 2014.
Ken was born in regional NSW and grew up in the Murray River town of Howlong, where he completed his early schooling. He went to Albury High School, struggling through the curriculum. He loved to read, but he also suffered from aphasia, a learning disability. The teachers were not amused with his grammatically incorrect attempts at story telling. Ken also loved sport, particularly cricket and Australian Rules football.
Ken's love of a good story may have originated from Harry Osborne, his beloved late Grandfather, who could exaggerate an uneventful walk beside the river into The Old Man and the Sea.
Ken had several long-term jobs, before deciding that he wanted to write his first novel, and subsequently become a full time author. Ken and his wife, Katie moved from Queensland where they had been living to rural Victoria (a 'Tree Change'). Here he began writing his first novel.
Ken has a passion for travel and trekking and fits these activities in between writing his next novels.

I LOVED BLOOD PRIZE.
Fast paced and exhilarating, at the end of each chapter I always said 'just one more'.
The protagonist, Tom Fox, is an enigmatic character, and I thoroughly enjoyed being inside his head as he tries to figure out exactly what the hell he has got himself into.
I also really loved the evil female characters in Blood Prize. Sometimes in this genre the female characters can be typecast and not fully fleshed out, but that is certainly not the case in Blood Prize. There are some savage ladies with some SERIOUS issues, I love it.
Pick up this book and you won't want to put it down.
My only question is WHENS THE NEXT ONE?

Ken Grace’s ‘Blood Prize’ takes the reader on a fast-paced chase around the World as they accompany the protagonists in their task to recover a mysterious prize coveted by many. There are thrills galore, from the rooftops of London to the deserts of Australia, as the small band of protagonists defies insurmountable odds in their deadly quest.

The writing is compelling, the action will leave you breathless, and you will root for the two main protagonists throughout. There are also plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader on their toes. The climax leaves some matters open, perhaps for a sequel, yet will have you thinking about possible outcomes long after you finish the tale.

A wonderful blend of action-filled techno-thriller with a touch of sci-fi which will appeal to many. A recommended read that will keep you turning pages well into the night.

Really really enjoyed this book, which is saying something, considering its not typically the genre I read. Incredibly fast paced with every chapter leaving you wanting to know more. I read it in just two days. Intriguing, action packed adventure/thriller.
