AWESOME

I really didn't think I was going to like this book! Boy was I wrong! This author did a great job of taking you into the period of Good Kings, Knights with brave women and men who gave their life for the High King . To fight with everything they had and rid the world of bad things so their children could grow without fear. I don't want to leave any spoilers so I'm not going to! Except to say blue is now one of my favorite colors! Don't let anything take you away from enjoying this good story!

"This novel follows the life of The Page. It is flavored with old world dialogue and religious references that really place you in the time period of Kingly service, maidens in peril and dragons to be slain. Like the new version of "True Grit" the dialogue takes a bit of getting used to, but when you have you realize it is a interesting writing technique that makes the book stand out among other fantasies of its kind."

A heroic knight, villains and dragons working together, and the mystical sword Excalibur. Padraig finds himself questing to rescue a maid from an evil dragon only to be caught up in a war to change the fate of our world. I enjoyed the creativity and imagination regarding what happened after the fall of Camelot. Some parts are a little slow, but overall an enjoyable read for all lovers of fantasy.
