“They say attraction is a chaos of chemicals in our body. Not ours. Ours had its own physical entity — which I wanted to ignore, and boy, did I try. Cupid didn’t just arrive with a delicate arrow, but a thunderbolt — one that shattered my reality.”
Designer Helena Antos never imagined her newfound strength, sass and self-belief would open doors far beyond her vivid imagination. Because when she met new boss Carter Walker, her heart did strange things, and so did the wind.
The more time she spent around him became impossible to ignore that her sparked emotions effected the weather.
Hailstorms were not her only concern. A girl with a trail of dead bodies warned Helena to go into hiding. Repeating numbers, strange dreams manifesting... Helena’s entire concept of normal was confronted, forcing her to question her reality, herself and especially her boss.
Helena learns about her own mysterious origins and her attraction to Carter runs far deeper than she’d imagined. They shared an ancient soul connection which awakened a sacred gift within, an elemental power that placed a deadly target on her back. Not only that, but there was also a war going on and her kind were being hunted for their essence, and she was one of the few left.
I received this book for an honest review via Voracious Readers Only.
Before I tell you why I gave only 1 star, let me first say that I absolutely hate not finishing a book. I have pushed myself through a few books before because I like to FINISH them. This book, I considered stopping MANY times, countless times, and I did end up skimming some pages (something I also dislike and have never done before).
I think there is a solid plot underneath everything that could have been something I enjoyed, but the writing fell extremely short for me. I agree with someone above saying that the "pacing was jumpy" which is putting it kindly. Additionally, a lot of the writing seemed... forced and adolescent.
I wish this was something I could have gotten into. Like everyone here I LOVE to read. I've never given out a 1 star before and believe me I am very sad about it.

A wonderful blend of romance, mystery, and supernatural intrigue that kept me hooked from start to finish. The story follows designer Helena Antos as she navigates newfound powers and a budding romance with her enigmatic boss, Carter Walker. From the moment Helena discovers her elemental abilities to the shocking revelations about her true heritage, the plot is filled with twists and turns that kept me guessing until the very end. I was particularly drawn to the dynamic between Helena and Carter, as well as the richly imagined world of Arians and the dangerous forces that threaten them. Beautiful Collision is a thrilling read that seamlessly combines elements of fantasy and romance, making it a great read for fans of both genres.
From the first page, Beautiful Collision had me hooked. Its balanced charm of depth, fun, wit, and romance wrapped seamlessly with the alluring mystery of self-discovery after a series of unusual events, added to the overall excitement and thrill of this book. A delightful layer of fun to the plotline was the simmering sexual tension between Carter and the heroine Helena, even when they were pushing each other away. Overall a great page-turning romance fantasy. This author's debut book was worth the read and I highly anticipate reading the next book in the series.
I received a free arc from Voracious readers. I think this was an interesting fantasy plot and really liked the premise specifically regarding earth but the writing fell short for me. The pacing was jumpy and the main character’s dialogue and thoughts came off like 16 year old’s writing. I think with some editing, developing/spreading the plot and spacing it across more books would help.
I got the novel through Voracious readers only and I loved it. We become attached to the characters, the magical world. I would have liked to have more about the magical world, because the romance took up all the space. I can't wait to read the 2nd book
I loved this book and was completely engrossed to the last page! It is a fabulous, well written story that had it all. World building, chemistry between the characters, pacing, suspense and paranormal elements with a refreshing depth and complexity. I cant wait for the next book to come out.
I was so excited reading this and I finished within a few days. The tension was great, spice, storyline I laughed a lot and Carter definitely had me swooning. This one was absolutely fantastic. I am going to buy this as a physical copy. One of my new favorites.
This book is absolutely brilliant!!! had to force myself to put the book down and go to sleep, then picked it up again the next day and finished it. I really really enjoyed it, and am in LOVE with Carter and Helena. I'm am now left to eagerly wait until the next instalment comes along, hopefully that will be soon.
