There is a common thread among Italian families and it’s the Sunday dinner. To other’s it may appear as a holiday, but to Italians, it’s the high point of the week. They get together, cook, eat, drink and tell good stories. Toward the end of a meal is usually when all hell breaks loose and the shit really start’s flying. In this book, we will take a peek inside Leo’s parents house where the whole family gather’s together each week for a great Sunday meal. When the opportunity arises, the family is quick to tell tall tales of their childhoods. The family has heard these stories a million times, but to them, they are still funny, and they will chime in and embellish. Keep in mind, these stories are told at the end of the dinner when the family is sitting around having their cake and coffee or espresso, some nuts, and playing cards. These are some of the stories Leo wants to tell you. They are in jest, they are sarcastic, but that’s just the way his family likes them. It’s all about family folks.

P.s. Frank and Dino, of course, would be playing in the background.
