Speaking to Muslims about Christianity can be an unsettling experience for the Christian. Our understanding of the Muslim faith is very limited, and their critique of the Christian faith is often unlike any we have come across. Despite the difficulties we are still called to be ready to witness. Islam is the world's fastest growing religion so Christian's are going to have to learn how to reach Muslims, and how to answer their criticisms. Malcolm draws on his experience of witnessing to Muslims, and shows how to witness effectively.
This was a very helpful and informative pocket guide to understanding what Muslims believe and why, how to engage in conversations with maybe your Muslims friends in a better way. The understanding and insight to help you bridge those gaps and witness faithfully and with compassion are a great help in this book, would recommend.
Steer, Malcolm – A Christians’s Evangelistic Pocket Guide to Islam (76pgs) (G) (Very brief but helpful introduction into what Muslims believe and how to interact with them and share the Gospel with them, concise and helpful)
Quick and simple overview of some of the differences between the two faiths, how to explain some of the misunderstandings and some good ways to explain your own (Christian) beliefs in a way that makes sense.
Nifty, though somewhat obscure, little booklet on discussing the Christian faith with Muslims. Definitely a good start, but I wouldn't recommend stopping your reading on Islam here.
