K.A. Poe's books aim to remedy the limp, helpless heroine that plagues many paranormal and urban fantasy novels by introducing strong, kick-ass female leads. She resides in Indiana with her husband and daughter. Accompanying the trio is K.A. Poe's writing assistant Aries (who happens to be a cat and doesn't do much in the way of assisting or writing, unless you consider sleeping on the keyboard helpful... ) and their two other furry companions - Lyra and Gemini.
I kept thinking this was getting better. Thought the books it jumped around. Only days would pass and people had already found homes and moved their families away. None of this was super great. The vamps stuff was intriguing and kept me hanging in there. Then the end was miserable. Seemed like things just happened and they were written down without flow. Nothing felt right. I'm not sure if I will try the next book. I want this to be redeemed. Honestly, I don't know if I should waste my money. I tried to sign up for the mailing list, but even that wouldn't work.
great series....great book....so much emotion I felt the joy and the pain. of the characters wish the end I g would of been different but then the next series wouldn't of been brought out.
I liked it a lot. It was an easy read, but I have to say that the ending kind of sucked. How much tragedy did she have to suffer and still end up losing it all.
