I was disappointed with this book, not because of lack of instruction but because I wanted photos. This book's just a little too old to have photos all throughout the book, and the usability suffers. I wanted text descriptions of how to set up the temari balls, but photography of the process would have made it all MUCH simpler to understand. Beautiful subject, but I suspect there are books with more photography out there in the world that will give me the visual answers I want.

This is the book where I learned how to make temari! Though my techniques have long since been refined and influenced by the traditional techniques, this book is a good source for a beginner.
