Pretty simple book but I definitely don't consider implications of communicating for work enough. This book provides so many examples so it'll be great to use as a reference for difficult emails and conversations.

I have used “Business Writing With Heart” almost every day since I bought it a couple months ago. I've used it to reach out to connections, to introduce myself to strangers, to connect colleagues, to say thank you or give feedback or provide positive customer service and gently tell people I couldn't do what they were asking and then tell them what I could do instead. I've used at least half of the chapters so far and I will probably use a few more now that the holidays are here! I've shared it with colleagues, too. And pinned and Facebooked about it.

I am always looking for ways to network within an organization. It is very hard to find much, if anything, about building internal cross-department relationships with people you may never meet but who are important to your work. Lynn’s book has been the most helpful resource I've found.
