The Perfect Man

Rate this book
Talia Monroe had been groomed to be the perfect wife but the only thing missing was her perfect man. The daughter of a doctor and prominent Savannah socialite, Talia had been educated at Howard and completed her studies at Cornell. Her quest for the ideal husband wasn’t quite working out and she thought it was time to try something different. Jackson Crawford was different. He looked nothing like the type of man she would date, had a blue collar job and enough chemistry to make her want to change her thinking. Talia was now wondering if Jackson Crawford was her perfect man?

A Good and Humorous Romantic Comedy

The Perfect Man (Slice of Life Series Book 3) is a good and humorous romantic comedy that earned the rating of four stars. I enjoyed reading Thalia’s and Jackson’s love story and would recommend it to everyone who enjoys reading good romantic comedies.

Great read!!!

This book is a phenomenal read. It kept me thinking and wondering what was happening next. It was exciting because you keep learning about the characters while waiting for them to figure it out. Loved the coming together and ending.!!

Nice surprise

I found this book while re-reading another. This book was short but enjoyable and inspiring. This book showed a slightly different journey to love. I truly enjoy the journeys Ms Gaines takes me on and can't wait for the next adventure!

Short and sweet

This was short and sweet. Would have liked to know how Jackson got rid of his old girlfriend but the novella was good without it.

A perfect man

Talia is a confident well groomed very well educated woman. She's well-liked by her peers she has a great mother and father. In other words she's very successful in life however love and finding the perfect man has been a disaster! What Talia Will learn is that in her search for a perfect man she needs to look for is a Man who is perfect for her and not get caught up in the package. Jackson also has to learn to trust again and he too has to learn how to search for what's right for him. what's perfect for him. Not just perfection. I The build up in their story was worth it in the end highly recommend this book. :-)

The Perfect Man/ Great Read!!

I love your characters. They are like everyday people who come in all sizes, shapes, heights and races. Talia and Jack were the perfect match....for each other. Talia had stereotyped Jack because he was not the tall, dark and handsome type. The attraction and chemistry was obvious. This story was funny and a different kind of love story. I loved it!!
