I am just about to begin studying for my Level 1 exam , and just finished reading Rachel's book. Her advice is concise , relevant , blunt and necessary for anyone about to embark on this CFA journey , despite the level. I shudder when I think that I was about to start this path without having known what I learnt in this book . Reading Rachel's book is like having a mentor share their wise insights with you . You will not regret reading this book. Thank you Rachel !

Every time I approach a new challenge or activity I always search for people that have accomplished what I want to achieve. I look for books that talk about the best process to follow and the mistakes to avoid. In this case, I was looking for a strategy on how to approach preparation for the Chartered Financial Analyst Exams
Rachel Bryant describes some strategies and ideas to follow that can help you increase your chances of success in the exams. I do not think these strategies are something really new or original but the book can give you a good structure to follow in your preparation.
However, at the end of the day, like anything in life, you will achieve success if you dedicate enough time to the task at hand. With the CFA Charter, it is no different. Work hard, dedicate enough time, and you can pass the examination.
Great overview and advice for the CFA exams. The most valuable information was the study regime and the mindset for passing the exams (unlike that of the many other people who fail). Solid and quick read with opportunities to return to the book over the course of the CFA exam process.
A must read for anybody considering the CFA Charter. Provides some very useful and insightful information in one place. Worth every cent spent and I feel more prepared to stay the beast and earn my charter.
