About the author

Dawn is a retired Teacher, Principal, and Teacher Improvement Coordinator. Earning her Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision, she went on to obtain a degree as an Educational Specialist in Character Education. She has been actively publishing the Mrs. Good Choice children’s line of books and is continuing to take her one-lady educational program, “Good Choices Matter” into schools and libraries. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), 12 x 12 Writing Challenge, and is the SCBWI Midsouth Nashville Social Director.
