This title is one of the “Walter Foster's Learn to Draw Series”. Youngsters can learn to draw rainforest and jungle animals such as monkeys, reptiles, birds and more. Opening pages outline the materials needed and include a few tips on drawing and perspective. Each spread introduces an animal with a few sentences describing its body type and other characteristics. Then, step-by-step instructions guide young artists to the finished product. Each spread also includes a Fun Fact box about the animal; some spreads feature an At Risk fact box if the animal is endangered. This engaging text is entertaining and educational. Drawing books are always a favorite; this will be no exception.
