Holly is almost 40 and her life has taken a downward turn: betrayed by a friend, cheated on by her boyfriend, her business gone, and her grandmother has died. She has to return to Charmed Haven, where she spent some of her youthful years, to be present for the reading of her grandmother's will. She gets her sister, Hazel, to go with her.
Things seem to go awry the minute the sisters arrive in Charmed Haven. Holly is 39 going on teenager with the insecurities, doubts and attitude to match. She thinks everyone is out to get her, so when things go wrong, she doesn't trust anyone. She is easily flustered.
Things in Charmed Haven are not al they appear to be. You'll enjoy this story of magic, humor, paranormal, idiosyncratic characters and mystery. A fast-paced, enjoyable read.

“Why do I have such bad taste in men?”
There’s always one book that comes out of no where every year that blows me away and leaves me desperately wanting more and this is that book for 2024! The storyline was absolutely fabulous, the writing fantastic, the characters and setting exquisitely crafted. I can’t wait to see where the author (who was new to me, by the way) takes this series!

I'm hooked!
What an incredible start to a series! I couldn't put it down. The story pulled me through the pages like the book was possessed by wild magic! My fingers are itching to get my hands on the next book in the series. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

Charm Haven is a quirky town where magic resides. Holly & Hazel are trying to piece together their memories of the past and figure out their magic. I love the quirky townspeople! Fun to read

This is the sort of book where you want to know more about this world. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I received this as an advance copy from the author through Bo0kfunnel and am leaving this review of my own volition.
