Small town romance
Heroine returns home (with a twist)
Sassy cat named Connie
Hero is a teacher/heroine an intellectual property lawyer in Nashville

There is a pageant scene towards the end of this book that bought me to tears.
This was a fun spin on our typical girl returns home to small town stories. The townspeople of Pronghorn are not happy to see Harlow back. Anna Grace does an amazing job of slowly building this tension and conflict between Harlow and the townspeople which bleeds over a bit into her thoughts/feelings for the hero of the book, Vander.
I love Vander and the Teachers. Loved the descriptions of the old hotel they are living in.
Really sweet romance.

Okay, this is a total 5 star read. I loved this book SO much, it was everything I was looking for in a Christmas read! This is my second book I've read by Anna, and it is now my absolute FAVORITE! You know you like a book a bunch when you stay up late to read it and then wake up early to finish it. It "may" have had me a bit emotional this morning.... but that's just because I was SO immersed in this story. So, as the emotions kicked up with the main characters, I felt it, and I loved it! I need a paperback of this one, so I can read it every year at Christmas. I'd love to keep traveling to Pronghorn, and I want to see what's next for Harlow and Vander!❤️

When Harlow returns home to her ranch, she does so with caution. She's never felt accepted, and she feels the community hates her. Truthfully, she has a negative opinion of Pronghorn, and I think that also makes them give her a hard time. But all that changes when she runs into her new ranch hand and one of the newest teachers in Pronghorn, Vander. They do NOT start out on the right foot. He loves Pronghorn, and she can only see flaws. But when Harlow is sentenced to community service due to her escaping cattle... she's forced to plan the Christmas pageant with Vander. They are total opposites, and yet there is something between them. And the more time she spends with Vander and Pronghorn , the more she realizes there is more than meets the eye here. Can she finally give Pronghorn a chance? Could her and Vander be something more? And what of her career/life in Nashville? And let's not forget there is a "possible" relationship of convenience back in Nashville as well!!!

So many feels with this book. And while I am nothing like Harlow's character, I was TOTALLY drawn to Vander. The handsome, introverted teacher with a heart of gold and a talented musician. Gosh, what a character! And what a story!
Five stars all the way!!!

If you are trying to decide on a Christmas read, THIS is the one for you.

Forced proximity, enemies to lovers, a little fake dating, extrovert fmc + introverted mmc, and the WONDERFUL community of Pronghorn.

***I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and reflect my personal thoughts and experiences with the book.

When a Nashville lawyer goes home to Pronghorn, OR to chill and ends up having to do time or help with a holiday pageant as penance for her crime of breaking the rules, how is she to know that the ranch foreman and teacher she falls for is someone she doesn't want to forget?

And Vander never expected to fall for her, either, or to sing in public. He's much too private for that, even as he seeks to help his teenage students shine on stage and elsewhere.

But that's what happens in the midst of their prep for the big performance, which also helps to bring the entire town together to celebrate each other. Great tale for the holiday season.

Mistletoe at Jameson Ranch by Anna Grace is book #3 of The Teacher Project series. Back in Pronghorn, Oregon, school teacher, Vander Tourn, runs into Harlow Jameson, who is visiting her hometown at Christmas. Now a city girl, she hopes to recharge her batteries before returning to her high-powered job. That is until her cattle have escaped again and there is a fine. Harlow must help out with the school holiday play. How can they have a pageant with so many different nationalities and religions?
Cute holiday book that continues the series of different school teachers.

I've loved all the books in The Teacher Project, but I think this is my favorite. I can identify with introverted Vander, who is being forced out of his comfort zone, and I love Harlow as she overcomes the hurts of the past, plus all the other great characters of this town, and lots of humor. The "too big for her britches" scene is hilarious! I want to celebrate Christmas in Pronghorn. Highly recommended!

What a great continuation of the Teacher Project series! I finished reading the book in one day. Pronghorn is getting ready for a Christmas pageant with High School kids. Harlow Jameson takes a break from being a lawyer to come to her home town. She meets a teacher, Vander Tourn. Sparks fly.

I love this series.

Good wordsmithing evokes the characters' emotions and the description of the setting for this story.

The author does a great job with the interactions between the characters and solving conflicts.

This is a book with sooooo much heart and sweetness, it should qualify as a holiday sweet treat! I love Grace's voice and characters, and though this is book three in the series it feels fresh and new and also so comfortable. Read and enjoy with a cup of tea and you won't regret it!
