Assigned textbook for PARA 21: Intro to American Law.

Meh. If you want to know what a tort is or whatever, go on Wikipedia. This is neither detailed enough for the initiated nor interesting enough for novices. I found it dull, but painless, so it'll get 2.5 stars.
