From prehistoric time to the present, one blood line has endured. Garaaga's children range from the Indus Valley to Mesopotamia to Jerusalem and beyond, influencing ancient civilizations, mighty crusades, and everyday lives.
The stories of the god Garaaga, his half-human progeny, and their supplicants have been passed down through the generations. Leaving a frightful, lustful, body-strewn trail through the ages, Garaaga's children and worshipers have survived to spread their religion around the world.

Garaaga's Children: Ancients is a great group of somewhat interconnected novellas. I read most of the stories in their single ebook forms and it was nice to get to re-read them again and in order to get the full effect of the stories. I look forward to more stories in the Garaaga saga.
Garaaga's Children: Ancients is a collection of several incredible short stories put together in a cohesive novel. The book is about a mythical God named Garaaga that tells the stories of his descendants, detractors and victims. I don't typically read many books about mythical gods, so I was pleasantly surprised by the ease with which Paul Cooley engages his readers from the very start. This book is an amazing feat in fantasy that weaves appealing narratives on humanity, survival and deceit. If you like books with original and slightly disturbed, but intriguing, story lines, pick up this book!
