Was reminded of this valuable resource today by a minister's comment that knowledge of grammar is vital in understanding the Bible. So I recalled my experience in the last century as a professor of journalism and public relations. Trying to teach college students to write often required teaching them grammar, and Language Skills for Journalists was a great help (mostly to me, as it wasn't an official textbook). I reviewed several books in search of a good resource and this was by far the best . . . more than just a grammar book.
Probably long out of print, but worth looking for. I may read it again right now!
